    Hello,
I just received the following email from EPN. I have no knowledge or have not purposely linked to another banned account.

I was wondering if and how can I fight this. Anyways, here's the email:

During a recent review, we found that your account is related to a previous banned account. Your account has been terminated and 100% of your pending commissions will be reversed.

The eBay Partner Network monitors records of all banned affiliates and does not permit re-entry into the network. This is outlined in Section L. 3. iii. of the eBay Partner Network Agreement

    (3) Termination by ePN or an Advertiser

Upon termination ePN will deactivate your account and you shall no longer accrue payments in your account, including but not limited to subsequent Qualifying Transactions where the clicks on the Links occurred prior to termination. If ePN terminates this Agreement for cause, you will not be eligible to enter into a new click-through agreement, and any attempt to do so will be null and void.

Your new account will be terminated immediately along with 100% reversal of your pending commissions.

    Sincerely,

The eBay Partner Network Quality Team

    Answering your question bluntly: no.

Especially if you were doing the you-know-what. That specific method is done on a month by month basis and a good percent of those epn accounts are banned. the accounts that survive is what it's about. it's just a numbers game if you're doing everything right.

Believe it or not, I was not doing any thing illegal or CS'ing. All I did was put ebay banners and ebay store on my website..

It's saying that I am linkde to a previously banned account. What is that suppose to mean..

So, is there anything I can do to restore my account. My EPN account is being used legit. I use my real email account not one of those throw away accounts. I am not CS'ing or any black hat stuff. This account is straight up and up.

Everything is real and up and up, so I am very confused as to how this has happened. It's like I'm guilty before I'm proven innocent.

    This actually chaps my ass.
I have sent them a letter worded by my attorney in hopes of getting back into EPN. Shit, I just started playing with EPN, it's not like I'm making a living off of this. In fact, although I've had this account for over a year, I just started to put banners and creating a Ebay store and my best month was like $24..

Hardly what you call doing something illegal. Oh well.
If anyone has any suggestions to getting re-instated I'd appreciate it.

    Thanks

I've never heard of anyone getting a ban reversed when it comes to EPN, Ebay, or Paypal. Sorry about your luck.

What kind of traffic and volume do you have? How was your quality score & earnings? Personally I believe that they use this excuse for many reasons including ones they can't prove.

there is nothing you can do about it.

i had an account on my fathers name, with his paypal, i only accessed both only from his home and computer and there was no way they could have linked it to my other accounts.
ok, i was doing the black hat thing with it, but they never mentioned that in the email, so it shouldn`t be a reason for a ban, if they caught me doing the thing not discussed here, they would have put that in the email as the reason for termination..

i got the same email and send 4 emails back, never got a responce...
i phoned them myself once, but that was a disaster, since i`m dutch and my english sucks really bad haha.
so i had a english friend from the UK call them, and they never gave him a straight answer either.

so either forget about it, or officially sue them.
if you sue them make sure you never ever broke their TOS. and it should be about a decent amount of money, at least +10k

Yes, you can dispute it and asked it be reviewed.

Apparently you are not ALONE as this was another round of mass bannings (check the EPN forums and other places). Same excuse "previously banned account".

This actually has nothing to do with a previously banned account or any information obtained by them. Nobody really knows what EPN is thinking on this line of thought.

They also DO NOT trace your MAC address, but do track your IP. So it's possible, but you can dispute it. People have been successful in getting reinstated.
