entering your prospects mind--what would you want to see

    Long story short, I'm helping an exterminator/pest control company with some research and marketing. Whenever I help a company I like to put myself in the potential buyer's shoes. If I was looking for a pest control company here is the following that I would love to see.

    A NO RISK, NO HASSLE 110% money back guarantee - NOT only do we guarantee you we will fix you pest problem, we will refund all your money AND pay you for your hassle if we can't solve your problem.*



    • On time or you don't pay* (have to check into logistics of this)
    • (this is something we're adding) A portion of each sale is going to go to support veterans (doing research to figure out which veteran charity is efficient and the money doesn't go to bureaucracy
    • Friendly staff "No risk, no hassle, no high pressure sales pitches"
    • No bait or switch pricing! - We're not going to show up at your house and try to change prices*

    What other innovations/offerings/things would you want to see??

    What would make it a no-brainer (aside from being the lowest priced) for you to go with us versus someone else?


    Note: The above is very rough and needs a lot of "wordsmithing"

    Of course there are "certain conditions apply" with * because as an example some people don't know their problem pest problem or the size of their house so we will tell people multiple times (and send them an introductory email before the appointment reminding them that this price is based on the information they have given us and is subject to change)

    Same goes for chemicals and other things. We'll have an attorney review things and fine comb it, but my goal is to make it a no-brainer for someone to choose my client vs. other companies out there, and my client is willing to innovate.

    Sounds like you have got it covered.

    The only other thing I can think of is a same day home visit.

    If I found a nasty infestation in my home (particularly if I had young children) I would book the company that could get to my house first.

    That would take precedence over price for me.

    Thanks, going to make a note of that. Very good point (and I had considered it, but if you are booked up it is hard to bump people back, but I have some options)>

    I am a bit concern over this :

    What if it is a public places, I believe that not all pest can be eliminated.
    Depends on the condition and the surrounding, some pests may come back again.

    Unless you are very confident you can fix it, if not won't it be very risky if you say "we will refund all your money AND pay you for your hassle if we can't solve your problem"?

    Other than that, the rest is very well done.
