Hello. I wish to start a blog with a niche that I enjoy but before I start I'm trying to learn as much as possible from you guys and try to plan in advance of what things would work best. However, I keep thinking about a question which i can't find the answer to : Which way would be the better way to go :
1. To start it in English, with a much wider potential audience but way bigger competition and scalability
2. To start it in my native language with a smaller audience but less competition and a limit of scalability?
Thanks in advance.
PS: It's my first time posting around here, I tried reading most rules I could find but sorry if I missed something and made a mistake with this post.

Give more context, what niche? What is your audience? Did you use any tools so far like Google Keyword Planner? If so what are the results for local and global search results?

The niche is food blogging, which is a pretty oversaturated niche. Monthly searches for "food" "recipes" and other niche-related keywords in my country are 10k-100k, whereas globally they sit between 1 mill and 10 mill. I have yet to study keywords in depth so please forgive me if you feel like it's an incomplete answer.

To answer your question, I would start with the native language, 10-100k seems like enough and there will be a lot of competitors already, so try to focus on long-tail keywords that have some traffic, to bring some people to your website

Ok, thanks for your opinion and advice, I'll look into it and keep it in mind.

you have to start international way, all though its not easy for you but you can learn advance and its improve your next planning,, think positive bro

as you say it english is the best option, regardles of how may people is doing something in english if your content is good enough you will get the traffic but if you do not feel confident you can test with your native language polish a few things about what you want to blog about and when you are ready to move you will have already an idea about what you need to look for and move from there.
