I'm sure lots of other people have sites which are german, french, protugese, spanish, etc... and one of the hardest parts of dominating positions in these specific google engines is that in other countries marketers don't have nearly as many backlink resources available as english sites do.

No one could give me an accurate answer to if a non english site would benefit from only english links. Well my friends, since no one gave me an accurate answer and since I needed to rank in country specific google search engines I tested it out.

I have two sites, one french and one brazilian both are four months old and both are ranking #1 for their main keyword with the help of only english links. So it seems it works my friends :) Well, at least it's working so far. Don't know if I'm gonna get google slapped in a month or two.

    Hello there,

i have a foreign language website and i assure you that links to count even if in a different country. On the other side , owning domains with .com even if you have another language setup there is good IMO. My website has .com extension , is set to another locale in webmaster tools but i've noticed that when my serps got high on googl*.com it was exactly the same time that my googl*.gr serps syncrhonised with big G. I believe every link does count , now for the importance i may say that i can't be sure.

Hmm I used Angela´s and Pauls backlinks for my german .de website and get Sandboxed since 1-2 months now... Jumped from #5 to #55 on google.de and got no chance to come back...

But maybe I´ve builded too much backlinks in a too short time... But I ain´t pinged them or bookmarked them, so maybe google ain´t found them...

Wich type of backlinks did you use? Blog comments? Profile backlinks?

No blog comments, I never use them. Profile backlinks and forum sig backlinks, plus xrumer blast ---> doorway page ---> my page.

The last one works best. If you don't mind me asking, how many backlinks did you add?

I added 100 Backlinks in one week or so... 50 from paul, 30 from angela and then added some backlinks with the "found Angela´s backlinks" method on BHW.

Wow xrumer really works? I was never interested in that, maybe I gave it a chance!?

Yes it works but NEVER post links directly to your site. always use doorway pages.

Xrumer is backlink king in everywhere.
But for long term strategy, I suggest using 5 more backlink method at least.
    Senuke can do this almost.

@Given - What anchor text do you use, is it English or non-English in an article because you must be willing to rank for a non-English Keyword, right?

My anchor text is always relevant to my keyword, be it english or not. For example, in article marketing if I want to put a link in my author box or article, I just say something like: My favorite foreign website on <insert niche here> is <insert site here>. Something like that. or maybe like, for offshore solutions I recommend <inset link here>.

    You get the idea.

yes, I got the idea but when you have to use a non-English Keyword as anchor text do you use that in an English article, can you send an url as an example.

They work the same but if you see you are ranking better in Google in other country you can get backlinks from the country you want to rank and better: tell Goole which country do you prefer: In webmaster tools

    Code:
    https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools
Once your account is validated access to Site configuration > Settings and choose your country.

Your anchor link must be the exact keyword you want to rank for if you want your backlink help you for ranking more but you have to vary it so your backlinks look natural.
If you go the black hat side: Xrumer, Angela and Pauls, linkwheels,.... always avoid linking your salepage or whitehat site unless you don't care to be penalized by Google...

If you put Auf Wiedersehen at the end of the article it even makes sense LOL :D
there are some linking services which let you use foreign languages as well 3way links is one of them but I cant recommend J.L. services...

Off course it works. It 's not the same thing as backlinks from sites with same language but it helps a lot.

You can put it as your username if it count as a backlink or at the end. Think about this: how many english people know German? People will think the anchor you have written is your name ;)

But when we will put anchor text the sentence will signify whether it is a name or actual anchor text, but it seems we can use non-English anchor text in English Articles.

lol...the reason there is no competition is because they don't convert like English search engines do
