Also....
Here's the full-time stats from Wembley,

England 1-0 Belgium;
Attempts on goal 11-19
Shot on target 1-6
Passes 375-564
Pass accuracy 82%-88%
Possession 41%-59%

and by the way, Belgium did not even qualify.

Don't think England will be bringing it all home this year,
even with this new defensive and structured approach.

What do you think?

Big outside chance....Wouldnt have any dough on them. Losing some of the older guys(except Gerard) is no bad thing , brig in some hungry young guys.....Cahill would be a loss hes been excellent

Of course England won't win. It will be Germany or Spain. I'm Belgian myself and the goal England scored was also very lucky.
Belgium played without a real striker and without Vincent Kompany and Toby Alderweireld (CB and RB) and were superior in every way.
The sad thing is that we have such a talented team but it's hard for them to get decent results.

England have no chance, Ireland have no chance but I'm gonna cheer like a madman and hope for a miracle, also I'm in spain living at the minute and they are in the same group as Ireland its gonna be an eventful few weeks lol

Let's put it this way, if England win the Euros, the world will end in 2012.

You worthless son.

Green white orange ftw though!

Terry is bound to score the randy sod. So he alone will win England the Euro 2012.

I'm English, and I will support them to the end - but I am near certain that we will not win the Euros.

You can't really look past Spain or Germany, I would be genuinely surprised if anyone else won it.

Surprised Belgium didn't qualify, as their team is quite good (well on Fifa 12 anyway... :p )

The current generation is the best we've ever had if you look at individual skill and at where they play (clubs/competitions). The thing is that they have difficulties scoring and also very big difficulties keeping it closed at the back. Even though our defenders play for Man City, Arsenal, Ajax.. Every game there is at least one big mistake in the back which always ends up as a goal, yesterday was the perfect example of that.
It's a bit sad but the main target is the world championship in 2014 in Brazil. We still have a very young squad, almost all between 19 and 25 and if they keep developing like the way they are now, we could get a very good result there. That being said the hardest part will be to qualify for it ;)

Yeah your individual players are sick.

I'm sure you will do well in Brazil 2014.

I'm not tipping England by any means but I've seen unfancied Denmark and Greece win it so never say never....
