We don't really need to worry, we got a few extremely powerful services (not sape related) on here to help people rank.

Just from taking a look at some of the SAPE links I've found and some I've bought, all they are are high PR shit sites with XRumered-out backlinks. Even if Matty Cutts somehow miraculously finds every single site in the SAPE network, that still doesn't get to what's really making these sites powerful: XRumer.

Rule of thumb: Spam is the shit and will always be there and will always work.

If Matt Cutts will be able not to deindex but to decrease the power of these sites he is BIG. But he won't :) It's like deciding that from tomorrow .net websites won't get first places on SERPs anymore

Yeah there are definitely other gray-hat strategies that are easily automated out there. I don't think people realize the scope of an update that big G will have to make to take down the Sape Network. Advanced machine learning, OBL pattern monitoring and an ability to notice when a site has huge blocks of text with a bunch of unrelated "commercial" keywords and content in them.

No big deal, Sape will be gone in next few days and something new will come up, smart people are not going to buy Sape links now.

sape has been around since 2006, the only reason matt cutts is focusing on it now is because in the last few months it has become more "main stream". the russians don't mind because there a few other sites like sape which offer the same type of links for the same price (I won't mention them here because I don't want them to die as well)

This is the problem when a network is outed publicly, only few month's been outed and sape will be gone. On to the next network lol

So one day will we run out of safe haven networks like "sape"?
And should we proactively seek to cloak the source of links and brand the service to where clients cannot
actively say where the links ect are coming from to avoid saturation?

How do we approach the future? :)

Edit...To add this is proof spam works and full black hat works. Trick is to hide it from Google.
Peoples websites did not go down in the SERPS because the same techniques do not work. They went down because Google found out
what was working and slapped it.

    Interesting...

I wouldn't worry too much, black hat is working as good as ever, if done the correct way, depends on whether you are using for quick returns or cloaking for long term results, we have managed to rank for high comp niches from spamming just this last few weeks, it was a rank and burn job but proved bh is still largely working, all we did is simply make sure the ratio of anchor was correct, as I said before if looking for longer results simply cloak, will take a while longer to rank but you will have lasting results.

People are only worrying Sape is coming down because mostly it is those who only found out about it recently, true blackhatters will know Sape was a gem yes but there are many more diamonds to be had out there! ;)
