Ok, I need some help from someone. I have been trying to help someone with a problem, but I am not sure of what to do at the moment. Ok, the file in question is an electronic claim file for health insurance. Now from my understanding most people accept the format it is in and that one using a ~ as the delimiter for the segments.

    It breaks down like this:

    Format: ANSI 837 w/~
    Segment Delimiter = ~
    Data Element Delimiter = *
    Subelement Delimiter = :

Now what they need is instead of the ~ as the segment delimiter, they need LF or CR instead of ~ as segment delimiter. I am not really sure how to do this or how to do this for a large file or files. If anyone could help me here I would appreciate it.
