after the emd update by google a couple weeks ago most of my mns were removed from the serps or at least pushed them way back on the rankings. now some of my emds coming back to site 2,3,4. especialy the sites i didn't touch after the update seem to slowly climb back the ranks. other sites where i added alot of content or got more backlinks after the emd update are still out of the serps.

is anybody else seeing movement of their emd sites?

    Nato1,

The fact that website owners were using EMD's was not the target of the recent update that wiped many of them off the SERP's but rather those owners were doing a variety of other things that got them demoted and they happened to be using EMD's as a part of their strategy. Google (or any other search engine for that matter) really doesn't care what URL you use as long as you have quality content and you don't appear to be deceptive in your practices. There may have been other signals from your sites that were affected that Google didn't like and perhaps some are coming back because signals were not that intense to begin with.

This post talks more about the subject,

As does this one from SEOMoz,

    Hope that helps,

    Shawn
