Has anyone else noticed that ranking EMDs has gotten tougher in G?

I have a handful of relatively new EMDs (2-5 months) that I call my problem children - they get to top 10 in Yahoo and Bing, but I can't get most of them higher than the 20s or 30s in G.
Just one example, Google: 37 Yahoo: 7 Bing: 8 - that's the pattern for most of them. If I can coax one of them onto G's first page, it's never any higher than 10.
Competition low to moderate for most of them.

Anyone else seeing this? Seems relatively new.

Yes, I have noticed... thought I was the only 1, lol, thanks for making this thread. I have an exact match domain as well, the best it can do is get to 7th place, then back to 11th spot and for a low competition keyword as well.

Maja, not happy to hear you're having the same problem, but now I feel a little less crazy.

Ya ive been noticing the same thing. Ive been moving to more brandable domains lately and seems to be doing better, but havent really tested heavily against EMDs.

I cant remember where i read it, but supposidly big G is starting to devalue EMDs since they hate marketers/SEOers and its usually only us that use EMDs.

Has anyone heard anything about this??

    Google panda update did this.

It's just going to take some backlinking to rank them, no more easy rides.
