    EMD question for mns

    i have both for uk and us

    This is how keyword tool shows

    Total Global Searches 2900 (EXACT)

    Local (EXACT)
    UK 1600 CPC 1.30
    USA 720 CPC 0.60

    What country should i set in google web master tool as UK searchers are more but cpc is low , usa searches are les but cpc high .

    Which one should i use as main and which as 301 .

    Thanks

    Use the uk one and redirect the usa one to the uk site. It's alot easier to rank in the uk plus it has more searches.

    But even so... i wouldn't care about any of them, i'd just choose one and then target related keywords and create a authority site rather then a micro niche site.

    You could do this several ways, for example:

    1. Create two sites, each with unique content. One geo-targeting the US and one the UK.
    2. Create one site, with directories, e.g.
    site.com/UK -> geo-targeted for the UK.
    site.com/US -> geo-targeted for the US.
    3. As 1, but 301 redirect one site to the other.

    Until we know what the real traffic is (assuming your figures are from the Adwords tool, which is not 100% accurate), I would go with 1. or 2.
