    Hello guys,

    I need some advice.

I have a french online shop in a very specific niche. This niche has a lot of synonym...

I am doing white hat SEO for the shop.

I have registered some other EMDs.
I would like to rank those domain for one keyword each (the keyword is in the domain name <=> EMD).

I didn't mention the name of the shop website on the EMD's domain.
Each EMD has at least 2 pages and some quality text. No spin, interesting text, no duplicate... There is some paragraphs about the products and some about which product to buy, an help paragraph ... All the EMD domains use differents html templates (for fast loading and diversity)

I'll do some black hat/grey hat SEO on those EMD websites.

I would like to use the future traffic of those domains to sell the products of the shop (not looking to improve my SERP with those EMD).

The question is, how to use this traffic:

1- Add no-follow link which links to the shop with link button like "visit the shop"
Problem: if I have a penalty on the EMD, will it affect the shop ?

2- Add no-follow link with a urlshortner (same solution than 1 with an additionnal shortner)
Problem: is it worth than the first solution ?

3- Transform the websites into informatives websites and put a GIF advertisement which link to the shop (nofollow)
Problem: if I have a penalty on the EMD, will it affect the shop ?

4- Make no link toward the shop, just the phone number and some contact form
Problem: more work for me and less convertion

5- Make some links to the EMD and make a website global 301 redirection
Problem: Will it help to rank the shop ?

6- Create a new shop on a different domain, and do whatever I want with it because I have the other shop
Problem: Need a lot more work ... not an ideal solution

Does someone has recently test one of those idea/strategy ? What was the results ? Do you have better idea ?

    Thanks for reading

Depends a bit on how many "some other EMDs" means. There is nothing bad in linking feeders do follow to the shop, as long as they offer some value themselves and we are talking about a handful or less. If you want to go with zero risk, #3. Nofollow links won't pass a penalty.

I wouldn't have thought that the secondary sites could affect the shop main site even if they got penalised, otherwise for negative seo you'd just set up these secondary type sites then link to your competitors.
