I have few MNS. All of them have content in range of 5-20. Nearly 50% of them are hit. They are hit not only for the main keyword but for the long tails I had targeted. Funnily enough the blogspot pages created as backlinks for these keywords are also targeted. All of the sites pretty much have same backlink profile. The only difference I am noticing between them is:

    Site that got hit have:
    1. Keywords in title, headers, description etc..ie. basic on-page optimisation you would do.
    2. Keywords in Web2.0 properties (title, header tags etc...) not neccesarily in anchor tex

    Sites that are not hit:
    Everything is random.
Name of web 2.0, title etc...It is related to keyword I am targeting but not the same i.e By reading the article, you wouldn't be able to figure out the keyword I am targeting.

    Anyone noticing similar trends?

We need to wait for Google to finish their shit storm, maybe a few days after and then see what really got hit, and what didn't get hit.

It's all looking pretty random right now. High quality EMDs hit, low quality EMD's hit, EMDs with a lot of content hit, EMD's without much content hit. It really is a shit storm now as the gentleman above me stated.

We just have to sit tight, test shit out, and figure a way to get our sites back up (if at all possible).

Guys...I think google has finally gotten smart and realized that if they just percolate the natural result listings they will drive money away from the SEO market and into their pay per click market ... since natural results won't be as stable as in the past.
