    Hi all,

So I got an AMR blast from a member here and it screwed me a little but i'm not giving up. (didn't realize it was only a 30% spin :/ oh well, my fault for sending it to the money site anyway) I sent the blast to my main EMD and to one of my inner pages. My inner page is doing fine on page 2, but my EMD is around page 600 of Google. I'm in the process of building some .edu back links to help out but I was wondering, should I be sending these authority links to my EMD or should I send them to my inner page? I have 20 do follow .edu's ready to be posted to and I don't want to waste em. I have another 50 nofollow autoapprove .edu blogs too.

I'll give a couple of my do follow .edu backlinks to the person who gives me the best answer.

Please don't respond with both... it won't help me much.

    Thanks!

    Home Page:
Ive had success with building links to both inner page and money site. That being said, I would only build links to your homepage. In order to offset this I would suggest building other types of backlinks (profiles, blog comments, web 2.0 etc) as well as varying the anchor text. I cant stress this enough.

I don't need your do follow .edu's, just wanted to help.

Thanks for your help Pixel I will keep that in mind. I think I will send all of my ******** .edu's to my homepage and send all the nofollows just everywhere.

I've learned a little bit more about this penalty. It seems that my domain was hit with the dreaded -950 penalty. My domain is on the second to last page of Google :( My inner pages seem to be ranking fine though... I only have 5 posts on the site, but each post is completly unique and has over 800 words. I'm wondering if I should just move on since I've only put around 5 bucks and 20 hours into it.

Does the home page displays the same content as any other page or post on the domain? If yes, then it might be possible that google is ignoring the homepage and indexing the other page with same content. If you are using wordpress and the home page is showing the full post, then make it to show excerpt. The same happened with me on a few new sites I was making.

Thanks! I will try that out. I wish I could just take that AMR blast back, but I cant login to the sites and remove my link :( The blast was done with a unique article from my site too... should I remove the content on my site that I had spun and blaster?

No. G has problems only if multiple pages on your sites have the same content. G00gle "Canonical URL" and you'll get the answers.

As the site is at 600 page. i think you should link back to that site. when Google will crawl your site then it will increase its rank and gradually the inner page will also be improved.
