For, e.g., My keyword is "best electric shaver."
    I got an emd too.
And I made a 5000 words article on the homepage.
Now I don't want that article to be on the homepage. Instead, i want it to be a separate post.

Can i copy the homepage post and create the post? *I will delete the homepage contents, once moved it*
Will I get duplication content penalty?

    Don't use duplicate content.

Use only unique high quality content. It should be useful for the site performance.

    I mean, that.

I need to move my homepage static post to a separate new post. I'll be copying it and create the post, then i'll delete the homepage post. Is it fine?

I won't suggest you this method. Why you want to copy that ?make a content with that topic.

    It is my suggestion.

If the content is moved to a different page as opposed to copied to a different page you won't get a dupe content penalty

    I agreed with the above.

In fact, this is what I wanted to say before coming across this comment. If you move the article to another page, it will not be seen as duplicate content.
