If the videos and the page are related to an educational purpose, you can use videos embedded on all pages. Most people are lazy to read the content on the page.
But they are ready to watch videos if the content is engaging them throughout the videos.
If you are in a different niche, just think before embedding videos if it is useful from the viewer's point of view.

It depends on the tools you are using on your website. Just try to reduce the page memory as much as possible.
Try to concentrate on the page layout according to the video embed process.
