Email Referer Question.

Hey. I need to spoof the referer to an offer page so it looks like its coming from an email because this particular offer only allows email promotion. I was wondering, would a link in an email have a blank referer, or a referer set to the email's page (assuming its a web email provider)? Thanks guys.
