So yesterday I setup a custom landing page from scratch. Needless to say I'm super proud about the way it turned out, but i ran into an issue. :damnit:
The Submit Form I am using is pretty much a standard thing through the Wordpress layout im using with some custom CSS. I Can't for the life out me figure out how to redirect to a Thank You Page (which is actually gonna be the clickbank product I am promoting).

So I narrowed it down to 2 options:
    1. Leave it the way it is and hope my subscribers click the link in the email. The reason I want to do this is because I made really cool Mouseovers that really grab attention, in my experience that really affects CTR

    2. Scrap the custom Submit Form and implement one that I can redirect to a Thank You Page

What do you guys think? Opinions, comments, experiences. Does redirecting right after the form submission REALLY convert that well, enough to make a difference? :beerchug:

Make the thankyou page an upsell relevant to your niche. That's the best traffic, then keep selling it in the follow up email sequence.

As long as it's relevant. You may even want your thank you page to be your own talking about why someone should get a certain product or why they need it. Then have your clickbank link.
I've been building email lists for several years with a opt-in list just like yours. Feel free to add me on skype with any questions: the.slug04

Well I think you should have both. Once they put in their email and hit submit then it should redirect them to a custom thank you page telling them to check their email and also maybe some info about a product you like and why they should buy it with a link to buy it. And also shoot them an email with the same link and more info on why they need that product

I have to thank you a ton! Idk what happened but i figured it out! I never knew it was possible, but you can actually get the Raw HTML for an Aweber Submit form (which includes the redirects i was needing) and change/wrote the CSS to get my Stylings that I wanted. i guess i was looking at it the wrong way

I appreciate you comment about why not just have both :p i think that was the spark my brain needed to solve my issue

    You're welcome mate!
Good luck on growing your list! I've used aweber in the past. But it's almost inevitable that they will ban your account at one point or your emails will hit the promotions category in gmail inbox. I think aweber had a global issue with all of their mailing servers getting tagged as promotional emails.
I've moved over to using TEAR in addition to a third party smtp service. This way if your smtp starts to not inbox or gets flagged you can just get a new one.

Feel free to ask me any questions if you get stuck
