Email Marketing Help?

Hello there! I've been lurking for quite a while and have learned some things but haven't decided what I wanted to try out first until now. As of now I am thinking of doing Email Marketing and I've searched but i'm looking for some more specific answers to some of these questions. If I'm being dumb and these questions aren't actually good just say so and feel free to insult me. After all, we are on the internet and I will cry if you call me dumb.

I'm searching for something that will start help my list building which is that I need something that has a form that users can fill out and be registered to be on my list. What will help me accomplish this?

Additionally, I'm only interested in building a list right but but I was wondering what is the best for building up a list of Names, Emails, and Age?
