ok, so I set up a new clickbank site promoting my product. Basically I'm a woodworking guy, been selling woodworking plans for years on ebay. In that time on ebay, I have amassed a customer list of over 20,000 folks who have purchased from me.

What I want to do is use one of those bulk mail services to send all my old customers an email saying, hey, here's my new product, since you were interested in this type of product before, perhaps you'd be interested in doing some affiliate marketing for this and we both make money.... something like that.

So, my question is, if you have a list of people who have already purchased from you, is it wrong to send them out an email or two like that using a bulk emailer? Is it against clickbank's policy? I've put so much work into my site, I don't want to get blacklisted over a bulk email.

The best way would probably be to import them to Aweber and ask them to confirm. Once they do, you can email them whatever you want, because you'll have their explicit permission.

If they know who are you, you can import them to awber or to getresponce. I think you can make a note on that first email and if they opt in then you can send as many emails as you want until they opt out and you won't have any kind of problem.

basically, I'm really not looking to repeatedly spam these people, I honestly see no point in sending these people the same email over and over again. Really the way I look at it, I have 20k people who have bought a product, and I want to point out to them that I have the product now that they can sell themselves, if they so choose. Just want to put it in front of them and say, hey, want to make some money promoting a product you already bought? I'm looking to convert some of these people into affiliates, rather than repeat customers. Heck, if I can get one or 2 good affiliates out of it, its worth the effort. Is there an easy way to do that? what if just send them out an email from gmail, gmail lets you mail out 500 at a time?

I guess my issue is I have my product, I have my page built, its listed on clickbank, it looks nice and clean, I have indexed by google, now how do I get it in front of affliates to help sell the thing?

If they bought from you that still doesnt allow you to send them any email.

But to kinda make it sweeter for them... set up a squeeze page and send them an email saying like : hey you bought from me this and that...now i have a gift for all my customers...go HERE and claim it...bla bla...they optin and only NOW you can legally send them emails where you can actually SELL them stuff..

I hope you see my point!
