It states that Musk asked for data to "independently verify Twitter's representations regarding the number of mDAU"

However, I don't believe this was a contingency of their initial agreement.

But did the initial agreement have any contingency for this? An offer was made without any contingency right?

All of the tests he has claimed to carry out have been with public data. This could have been done before the offer as part of the due diligence too, no?
