Hey folks, The software 'Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor' is supposed to be an easy to handle all-in-one WiFi Security/Cracking tool but I have to admit I still need help. My average IT knowledge is not really useful. After I've read the User's Guide I started the integrated network sniffer but an error appeared: 'AirPcap Adapter was not detected in your system'. I googled it and found out that an 'AirPcap Adapter' is a special tool for Network Sniffing. Well, for guys like me a very useful tool because the EWSA would do everything by itself. So I looked for one in over 8 different electronic shops in my city but none of them had one of them. They haven't even heard of it. So, without that adapter there is only one alternative described on the Elcomsoft Homepage: 'Wireless sniffer included into Elcomsoft Wireless Security Auditor works with AirPcap Adapter only, and requires proper drivers installed. If you do not have a compatible adapter, the program requires a valid log of wireless communications in standard tcpdump format. The tcpdump format is supported by all commercial Wi-Fi sniffers. In order to audit your wireless network, at least one handshake packet must be present in the tcpdump file.' So, my question is how do i make/get a 'tcpdump' file of the WiFi I want to get in on Windows?
