I'm not sure if we'll ever have verifiable proof on this, but I would love to hear your thoughts.

We have multiple Instagram business & personal pages that we manually run/access from multiple devices...iPhones/Androids, Tablets, PCs, etc. Since our businesses are run by multiple people in the same city, more than one of us access these pages from the different devices. Some of us have 3 to 5 of these pages running on the same device and, as previously mentioned, the pages overlap across multiple devices.

No automation is really used, just the posting of unique engaging content and reposting of some relevant content of other pages in our industry.

If we use one of these devices to create a new page, do you think that IG "demotes" the new page because it's not as "original" as a page that's created on a "virgin" device? I'm wondering if IG sets some kind of engagement "weighing" factor to a new page based on this.

Your thoughts?

Appears that no one has faced this situation. But, why not to make the experiment yourself?

Create new accounts with brand new phones and some with devices that were already in use. Use them in the same way and see if there is a difference. In theory, I do not see why a new account would be less valuable if you are not going over the allowed limits.
