    keep guessing...
    the Internet...

well I entered the final year of my engineering and want to go in for a Master's in the US. I am thinking on the lines of MS in CS...basically anything that could help me with IM and computers in general. I do not want to go in for a rather mundane MBA. The kinda guy I am, I prefer managing my skills rather than managing people.

I thought of a Master's in Computer programming initially but it seems like not a lot of universities offer it. I will be taking the GRE exam in the first week of novemeber and am targeting the Sept 2010 session.

Any sort of suggestions related to the course, college and locality will be appreciated. I do not see a reason for this question to be frowned upon so keep the brick-bats away.

P.S. A masters program in NYU would be ideal :D

Have you got experience mate? If not, gather some and then think about masters. Don't just rush into it. Masters should be used as a ceiling breaker rather than just another way to extend student life (i.e. in good ways learn more). Learn real problems and then go back to find solutions. I guess that will be the best thing for you.

Hmm I think it would be better if u do your masters as soon as u complete ur graduation...like the above person told u can consider having work experience for 2 years but i fell it is a waste of time considering the fact that u are into IM...
