Does anybody use edublogs for web 2.0 links? I think you need to pay to have your properties indexed. Can somebody confirm this for me?

anybody have anything to say to help me out? I don't want to waste my time writing articles for these properties if they are not even going to index.

No you don't need to pay and they're indexed the properties as long as you build tier 2 to them.

I hadn't noticed this before, but I checked a couple of my edublogs accounts, and it looks like you're at least partially right - there's a noindex tag in the header. I see a couple that appear indexed anyway, though they show the "A description for this result is not available because of this site's robots.txt" message.

Right! See I knew I was not insane. people keep telling me its indexable and I have made nearly 20 in my IM career and only a few of them have indexed. Recently none of them have been. One guy on here said that its one of the only platforms that he uses and I am wondering why?

It is because they have set all their blogs to noindex. If you check the source, you will see noindex tag in header.
