    Hey I was looking for niches to go after and I noticed some how a university blog is coming up first on google.com for the term buy viagra. When I click on the link however it redirects to an affiliate site.

    When I actually visit the university blog is has nothing to do with viagra. How is the site ranking so high? And how can this person be redirecting the traffic when obviously he does not own the blog?

    Seems pretty neat though, i'd like to learn how it's done and maybe if I can exploit my college blog as well :p

    This is most likely a hack. Usually in a case like this, the person has to actually hack the site and re-direct it.

    I have even seen this technique used on government websites and pages as well.

    Yea if you do a search for buy viagra online you can see 2 other sites doing this technique as well? Surely not all of these university sites have been hacked?

    Actually they probably have.

    This is a pretty common method for the guys that go after the insanely competitive keywords like buy viagra.

    I see it all the time.

    1.hacker implements algo that finds exploitable edu sites(no, he wont tell you how he does that)

    2.he uploads his seoed page and uploads it with redirect

    Simple as that but i doubt anyone would share this scripts

    hey man. Sorry to hear about your problem. There are natural remedies you can use to "get hard" :p jk

    Yeah guys in these sort of uber competitive market do it all the time. They are hacked and they are not the only ones. They probably cloaked it, so that university doesnt see the redirect, because it has been like that for the last 3 weeks :)

    In fact. If you go on the site, you will notice that almost all the post there take you to the drug site.

    Its actually called parasite SEO. Mostly its just basic remote file inclusion hacks where you inject iframe/ javaredirect/code.

    Its actually classed as hacking & you could get in serious trouble if busted, i only learnt how it was done after fucktards kept on raping one of my sites...but the funny thing is i discovered if i left the parasite there for a while the idiots would build all these links to rank the parasite page & soon as it started to rank i deleted the parasite & .htaccessed the link juice to my own landing page. ROFL.

    this is an example [that dosn't work]

    the code they inject is something like this..

    if(substr($_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"],0,18)=="http://www.google."){
    $url = "http://www.myspammingsite.com" ;
    header("Location: ".$url);
    header("Connection: close");
    }

    Im finding more and more less reputable .edu and .gov blogs on the net that are filled with nothing but spam posts. Its great to get .edu and .gov baclinks but when most of them are spam sites you are advised to stay clear even if it means you can get an easy backlink. Found 10 .edu sites i could have gotten backlinks from but when i saw obvious spam links and nothing else i said forget it! Some of these posts were so obvious. Posts like;

    product 1
    product 2
    product 3

    and nothing more. There was even a post listing over 20 links. So obvious that these blogs are not monitored and completely useless from an IM standpoint. Im sure Google can weed out the bad posts and not rank you.

    Actually, it's not worthless. These guys know what they are doing, so you can be sure they are making bank for their efforts.

    I'm in no way condoning this type of marketing, but if you hack EDU or GOV sites, it's an easy "backdoor" for a 1st page ranking for extremely profitable and competitive keywords.

    The majority of people searching for "buy viagra" or similar keywords are wanting to buy. Having your links on a EDU/GOV dsite not only gets you great rankings and puts you in front of the buyers, but it also give you automatic trust in the eyes of the buyer since your on a EDU/GOV domain.

    Hi! :cool2:
    This is well knowing method in RUnet. There many people know about this method. I know how they made this but I don't use it. Yes this is a hacking, but this is now the code that write letusgo. :rolleyes:
    People make their doorways pages on EDU sites. It was created by the special soft. It can be more than 500-600 pages on one EDU hacked site. After this they link it with other hacked EDU site. So this pages get big authority for google and get top 10. After this, people that come to this site were redirect. Because the advertising is thematically and is about VIAGRA people make clicks. You can test it here: http://pharmacyheads.com/?aid=24765&q=buy+viagra ( Feel free to test the feed ).
    They make good money. For example you can get $1000-$1200 per 1000 visitors if traffic is well. The bids you can see here: http://www.promoheads.com/check_bids.php?s_keyword=buy+viagra&s_country=1
    This is very well PPC! You can sing up here http://www.promoheads.com/ and try to redirect you traffic.
    This is all. If are some question feel free! :)

    You need to hack the .edu sites to implement a redirect, but you don't need to hack in order to get a page on a .edu site which you control.

    It's entirely possible to make your own landing page on .edu sites using legal means, and not all that hard to find places where you can do it.

    This would not be quite so effective as the page would appear fresh to google, but it should carry more trust than anything you can come up with on a site you own.

    Hackers hack .edu sites and place viagra affiliate ads on them. They then use xrumer on the said sites to get first google ranking. This is because Google trusts .edu sites.

    Micallef - It is more effeciantly was to link from other .edu sites. It was enough 20-25 link with pr 5-6 to be in top with cool pharma key!

    Now spam if nothing with way that people elaborate!
    I for example can get pr 4 only after 5 minutes of work. Of course in next up date!
