.edu backlinks

    Anyone have any good tips for getting .edu backlinks? I have gotten some from college students I know who have their own webspace at the university, but that is a tiresome and not too effective technique. I want high PR .edu backlinks!

    Write something noteworthy that is relevant to the content on the edu page and they are good about posting a link. Easier to social engineer a professor than an internet marketer.

    try it with a search query like this: "viagra intitle:.edu" and see however you do it...

    Hi this alex if u want the ".edu" sites, then search query like this "Your keyword inurl:.edu" OR "Your keyword site:.edu".
    You will get edu sits.

    No, PageRank transferred is calculated based on a page's own PageRank.

    EDU Links are believed to be more reputable and thus pass Trust to a site, the more trusted links the more Trust you have. EDU sites also tend to be considered topical authorities, and thus a link from a topical authority passes more relevance.
