You know i really really hate converting video files....it's soooo boring imo. reminds me of the days before mp3s were common place.....you know the days where you'd have to do everything manually... a program to rip the CD, a program to convert the file to mp3... a program to remove the clicks. a program to improve the sound....And then if you wanted to make a CD from a bunch of mp3s...that took more time out of your day.... Anyways, now that flv is the 'new' video media of the day, i keep my eye out for more advanced software to automate editing flv files w/out converting. I'm surprised there's nothing out there that can do this on a PC...seriously, how long has youtube been around? the first thing i found was moyea flv plug in for premier...but can't find the serial...and yeah, i could buy the plug-in....maybe one day... *cough cough* i know that i could use photobucket and all...but it wasn't my cup of tea anyways, i found something that has promise, and i didn't see a mention of it here...so i thought i'd share. If it's been mentioned, or this is old news...then oh well...sorry for being redundant. Code: http://www.richapps.de/?p=66 here's a how to video Code: http://www.richapps.de/files/richflv/richFlv.html Basically its a tool you can run on your system that will let you manipulate flv videos....it's in beta, can be a bit buggy, but ... like i said... has promise. who knows, maybe adobe and microsoft will get the hint and create their own app....or buy this one, add a fancy skin, and rebrand it for their own... hope you find this useful! happy tubing!
