Is there a special program I have to get to do this? When I open my wordpress themes in dreamweavercs3 all I see are yellow php tags. What gives?

Have you tried opening something that was written with a CSS stylesheet?

Are you just trying to edit some images on a template or build your own from scratch?

Wp is a CMS which relies heavily on PHP.

If you are just trying to change an image on a template, you need to open the folder and look for the image file, open it in photochop so you have the proper size, do the editing, and save it under the same name - then upload to your server.

I had this very same question a few weeks ago, luckily I found a solution, themedreamer!
it's free! it's kinda a pain to get it working but its kind of handy to see your results right away.
Code:
http://www.themedreamer.com/

can anyone crack this? this is great but it is only a 14 day trial

there is cracks out there if you only look...
I'm not a software pirate and do not affiliate with them, hence I would not post a link to it on here.

Has anyone found working ThemeDreamer, with serial, crack or whatever?
I can't find it anywhere

I've been looking for this one as well. No luck as yet but will come back post if I find it. Found a couple of Sponsored Links when searching that claim to have one but not found one yet that works.

Themedreamer is a great php-wysiwyg-tool. (it doesn't work with Artisteer-template though). You will find it on mac-bb.org and macserialjunkies.com. (you have to register, just like here)
Otherwise: just view a installed WP theme which comes close to what you want in the browser, click on view source, copy all code, make a new html-page in DW, delete all code, paste code from wp-theme, correct link stylesheet and you can customize all css in wysiwyg-mode. Then -only- upload the customized css into wp. Done.
