I was thinking.. A LOT of ecommerce stores are started by english speaking Americans. It makes me wonder how easy it would be to get a good niche if you started a store in spanish or mandarin and marketed to their countries instead. Like instead of selling "bathroom furniture" you'd be selling "浴室家具" or "muebles de baƱo", I mean, not everyone types english into their search bar. Has this been thought of or discussed? I imagine it would be difficult to get suppliers if you dont know the country or the culture, or even the language too well..

..Markets are different. If you type in the spanish translation of "bathroom furniture" into google you get totally different websites. I'm saying, the competition for other languages might be easier to get into because there's less people in the world who speak those languages, and less people in business who speak those languages.
