    Hi all,
,My site needs to be remade completely because the current code is really bad, so i want the site to look exactly the same as it is now except its been made with different code.

My question: i have a lot of on site facebook comments and social shares for products. Is it possible these will switch over to the new replicated site? or will i loose those in the process of switching my files over?

Domain name is staying the same, all i want to do is replace the current website with different code but look the same on the same domain name, but worried in changing all files it may cause they comments and shares etc to be lost?

No you won't lose them if they're Facebook widget comments. Also you need to be more specific with what you mean by "changing code". If you're changing from wordpress to another CMS for example and the comments are in WP, you will lose them unless you import to the new CMS.... So you gotta be more specific so we can help...

Im using wordpress for my ecommerce site and the current code for the website is rubbish so i wanted to get someone to make a replica of the website and do a quick switch over so that the code is more simple to edit inthe future

You mean just the theme right? When you say code you mean the HTML code? You haven't changed anything else in the wordpress code, correct?
