Never really had trouble coming up with methods in the past so ebooks used to be a quick way of making money but now that i am trying to get back into business i am not sure if there is still a market for ebooks =/

Anybody been trying to sell some lately and come give me some hints on where to sell at?

Of course there is a market... we've been selling coffee for centuries, is there still a market for it?

It just depends on how you promote it, a good place to start is DP, depending on the niche of course. A good idea is to get it listed as a product on clickbank and promote it through there, as well as getting a couple affiliates on board.

Article marketing still works... so does youtube... everything still works just like it used to (except ebay) you just need to be a bit creative and stand out from the crowd

I'm trying to sell an eBook at the moment for the first time but currently struggling. I've started off at DP, but I think i'll shortly expand onto different forums, ClickBank and youtube.

I do agree, there is still a market :)

Do a loss leader, by finding an older PLR or RR ebook about the same topic and promoting the product on your blog or minisite. Provide the older ebook as a freebie or sell it for next to nothing, then promote your target ebook as the "up to date" or advanced guide to the same subject. Or set it up as an OTO upsell product for people who are downloading the free book.

I think so. I've been looking at the "Just Sold" listings on Flippa and I've seen alot of clickbank ready sites (ebook(s), sales page, sometimes affiliate stuff: banners, sample emails, etc) that have been sold recently.

That's why I added RR (reselling rights) as source material for the free ebook. The target ebook you actually sell could be a better RR/MRR product, or CB/PDC affiliate ebook.

How's this for a wacky concept: write a NEW and ORIGINAL ebook that offers some legit info. After one year of sales (over 220 @ $27, only 3 returns) that puts me right at $6,000 profit.

I gotta come up with another ebook.

There will always be a market for ebooks, but the market is currently flooded with poor quality crap information products. Especially in the internet marketing niche. Ebook sellers that really deliver on their promises will rise above the crowd.

yes there is still a market for high quality ebooks.. People are always looking for solutions to their problems so if an ebook can help them solve it, people are going to buy it..

i have 4 ideas for Ebooks. It is a VERY lucrative market, esp. since the kindle is on board. There is also the great new ISBN creator that Amazon has.. InstaWriter! La Bammo!

One cool thing about selling your own products is you get 100% of the money. I wrote a very early guide on getting accepted into CPA networks. I started selling it for 10.00 on DP then I paid someone 50.00 to create a smiple landing page and ebook graphics for me.I started selling it on my site and just recently bought a domain name for it I also drove traffic to it on TE's well I think I made about 300 off that ebook with sales still trickling in eveynow and then. Nice to wake up and see 9.38 (after paypal fees) in my account and that email paypal sends. The ebook took about 30 minutes to write. Between writing it, proof reading it doing the web site and fpting it I spent about 2 hours on it. So the return was worth it. I am just trying to think of another product to create.
Now everyone has a ebook on getting accepted into cpa networks but the thing I have a contact in it who does approvals so its a big sellet in the international market. That goes with what the earlier poster said about finding your own angle on a subject my angle was the approval contact that everyone wants.
