eBooks concerning illegal activities

Where does the law lie on eBooks concerning illegal activities or illegal methods of making money online or anything illegal etc.

Do they usually have disclaimers i.e we dont know the laws and don't suggest you do this?

I think that would kind of depend on how you framed that e-book. If you were teaching someone how to hack and said ... "This is how you do it" blah blah that might be not the best way to do it. If you wrote the e-book and used it as a historical account of hacking and gave all real examples.... that would be viewed differently.

I'd say how you package it and market it is everything.

Take a close look at what they do, they are in the same market you mentionned...
I am sure you can learn from them, they have been around for a long time.

In the US, isn't this under the Freedom of Speech. I mean if OJ could write a book called "If I Did It", I don't understand why you can't write a book "If I wanted to Hack Your Computer".

Unless it's hateful or something like... how to build bombs, you have nothing to worry about.

But you realize that we don't have the freedom of speech we used to. So it does matter what you say and how you say it.

Maybe a better way to look at this - yes you can say whatever you like however, it may put your arse in very hot water. So is it really freedom of speech? I think not.

You do have something to worry about if you talk about bombs today, the constitution is hanging on by a thread .. literally ....
