    Hi Blackhatters,

Not sure if this is the right section or not so apologies if I'm wrong.

Anyway, I?ve written an ebook and obviously want to protect it from being pirated and so on.
My question is: is there a software out there in cyberspace that offers full protection?
By this what I mean is I?m looking for an ebook software where I have complete control over it after the sale is made. In other words instead of paying a monthly fee to certain ebook protection companies, I can disable the ebook remotely from my own server.

I know a lot of people on here will say just create a PDF so it?s readable on most if not all computers, but my dilemma is you can?t really secure a PDF where as you can to a certain degree with an .exe file. I do expect a bag of mixed feelings here because I mentioned the word .exe, but this is the only way I am aware of for protecting an ebook.

Before you say it though, I?m also aware of places like ebook gold, ebook generator, ebook pro and virtual vault that allow you to disable the ebook remotely if the buyer requests a refund. I suppose these are quite good in some ways but a couple of them charge a monthly fee which I definitely don?t want and the others you have to use their own servers. (I know it?s not likely when you mention the names, Derek Gehl or Armand Morin but what if they ever did go out of business? Stranger things have happened)

Like I say above, I?d rather have a php script (assuming php can handle it?) or something to upload to my own host where by I can remotely disable the ebook upon refunds.

    Anybody???

    Hope this all makes sense?
