eBay was named eBay coz EMD was not available :D

    Yeah you read it right...eBay was originally part of "Echo Bay Technology Group" but echobay.com was already taken by a mining company based out of echo bay,Nevada. :D So next time if you don't get your desired EMD (Exact match domain,for people still wondering),don't loose your heart ;)

    Great lesson.

    echobay sucks, ebay is much better. I thought the "e" on ebay was there for the same reason it is on ecommerce. By the way, does anyone know what that e means?
