- Some or all of your listings may have been removed. A list of any removed items will be listed further down in this email.
- We have credited any associated fees to your account.

To help you be a successful seller and ensure a safe experience on eBay, we sometimes restrict selling activity, end active items, or suspend accounts until additional information can be verified or obtained. These actions are not necessarily meant to be a reflection of your account's activity, but rather a preventative measure.

I JUST STARTED WITH DROP SHIPPING. WHY WOULD THEY JUST DO THIS? I HAD 20 ITEMS, UP. JUST 20 ITEMS.

Dude! It was all electronics listings, things like tablets and iPhones and stuff. I had 19 listings 2 days ago, and they took them ALL down. WHY? What scum bags.

Is your ebay account a new account? Maybe you list too much stuff simultaneously. Electronic listings are considered as 'highly sensitive' items to ebay.

I have been doing dropshipping for years... ELECTRONICS is the item with the highest fraud.
You may be able to get it , your account back. But you need to NOT sell consumer electronics for a month or so.
You can do it, but I have had newbie sellers get shut down every other week adn call backa few times to get it re opened.

To be honest if you know the market for consumer electronics, TABLETS , phones, ect... the big guys don't make 5% profit margins so if you are competiting for price with the big guys you are getting hot items.

If you call and don't get the account back up make a stealth account and try again. DO NOT SELL electronics or digital items to start.
Household items are good.

Was this account a stealth account?
How long have you been selling on this account?
PM me if you need anything. :)

Some stealth sellers have gotten away with selling electrical items, but to be safe, just sell random, low priced, cr*p.

A seller listing high-risk items (fakes of brands, or brands that not everyone can sell easily) will get that kind of response. Is this true in your case?

So what, I am not allowed to sell electronics on eBay? This is NOT against whatever polices they have? Is this Russia now? My items are genuine and perfectly legit, I will be talking with eBay again later this weekend and see what the hell is up. No one fucks with me man.

When you contact them try not to come across with that 'No one fucks with me man' attitude. They are the ones with the power and wont do shit for you if you come across as a wanker.

Just my penny worth

If at all ebay has suspended your account because their investigation/review team feels you're listing high-risk items (among other items), it will ask you to produce/fax certain details when you talk with its team. If you can produce authentic details, AND IF they are satisfied with those details, then your account will be restored back to normal in about 3+ days (else they will perm ban your account). Don't panic. :)

Well technically it's not suspended, it might as well be because I can't list anything now. "Temporary restriction." What gets to me though is that I see so many people listing electronics, I was mad earlier but now I'm just thinking rationally. They see the new kid on the block and they want to verify my legitimacy? Business is business I suppose.

My drop shipper is totally legit, so as far as that end it will be fine. As far as giving away proof of my identity, what do you guys think I should fax them? The woman mentioned my drivers license but would I be alright faxing them a copy of my birth certificate? They also want proof of my billing address.

I think I'll be alright.

They had NO problem raising my selling limits to 20k per month with barely any feedback and real selling history, but as soon as I take the dive I get a fuck off. Oh the irony.

HMM I Called yesterday asking if a certain product in health and weight loss could be posted because I see millions of people posting them. There were 12 up for sale in the United States. I think I got a few people banned last night for calling them out on the phone. lol

Never mention you dropshipped -- it will invite a 110% ban imo. :)

I think that they will be interested in knowing where you get your supplies from. They may ask for details regarding your inventory (your purchases, bills to know if you bought it from a authentic online or offline seller and that you don't use dropshipers -- whatever it means!) They will want to know how you're able to sell so many electronic etc items because those are more prone to be on the darker side than, for example, fabrics or toys... In short, they will want to know if you BH or WH your customers.

Once they are suspecting you, your personal data may not be as useful to them as your products related data is to get to the bottom of their suspition-itch... so be prepared to fax them everything they ask for so that you can get back your account.

P.S.:
If they ask for your birth certificate, then you can give it (fax it to them. :)
If they ask for your billing address, then by all means give it to them (i.e., if everything is all right from you :D).
If they begin asking for more indepth details about your supplier, or ask for purchases related to your stock then they are prodding more into you and you're under their microscope for sure. But if you're sure about satisfying them then you can get back the account easily imo.

This is no time for sarcasm, I'm wigging out over here. Drop shipping is perfectly fine with them? Stop messing with me lol, I need support not crap. I get it though, eBay strives to be a WH business. I guess I will just have to prove to them that I am indeed a good guy. Hopefully they will understand.

If you think it is crap then wait till it gets over with them -- you'll understand better at that time. I was just trying to help you with what I know about ebay... :)

So was this a dormant account that suddenly became active ?

Did you list the items yourself or did your dropshipper ?

Where they listed from your IP ?

Did you use an automated listing software....turbolister...csv file ?

You do realise its easier to just get on the phone and do what they want. If its as legit as you say then whats the drama.

1. yes, it is an older account from 2003. I saw potential in it and have been in contact with a drop shipper in the electronics area.
2. I listed the items myself, they all looked really professional and nice. The woman I spoke with said that another reason they took down my listings was because I provided manufacturer pictures and not my own, I told her well of course. I am drop shipping and my partner is in another state. She said ok, provide me with the details of your drop shipper.
3. yes all listed from my IP, not stealth accounts. Everything is in my name with my address and everything, perfectly legit.
4. I listed them myself but with the help of a website that makes the auctions look professional (biggerbids).

The drama is that I need money. I know a lot of you guys on here shit gold but I'm not at this point. I phoned them and the response I got was basically this,

1. provide identification proof
2. provide drop shipper details
3. provide billing address proof

Simple enough, I'm just worried that eBay won't restore my ability to sell. I don't know why I am but I'm worried, this is my start in the IM business and already a blow has been dealt. Maybe I'm just being a drama queen but I just hope this all works out.

I have a nice opportunity here to make a stable income, and eBay can be real pricks sometimes. Although the woman I spoke with was nice, sort of.

OK here is the solution! :)

Know that once you send them the authentic details, the will remove the noose from your account. :) Your fear is not unique... I for example had the same fear some years back, when Paypal had gotten my account to limited status, and asked me to fax them some details. The way they asked for those details (like a police would ask you), I got frightened and panicked, because I too thought that nothing good is going to come out of it. But within 3-5 days, my account limits were released. So don't panic is the solution. :). Fax them those details and think positive.

At this moment, you are building up imaginary walls around you... only you can break them up NOW (fastest working solution), or time will show that there was nothing to be afraid of (slow-working solution -- more sure to make you feel completely calm). Those imaginary walls are crushing your confidence, and not the actual ebay people who sent you that email!

P.S.:
Re: my PP getting limited: I had used proxy sw (hidemyass) to browse some sites, and then had forgotten to go back to my original IP before I logged into my PP account. I was getting paid very frequently at that time and it was such a regular and good online income through PP that when I saw that my PP account got limited, I panicked big time!

So when I used proxy and then logged into PP, the account got limited immediately. Well, you know what happens when you're using a proxy with PP. I told them the truth (about my habit of using proxies while surfing but forgetting to get back to my own IP...), and send them all the details they asked for. That got me out of huge trouble. But most of that trouble had come to me through and at the time of my panicking state. I could've coolly handled it (the way it got to a conclusion), but the panic caused me most trouble...
