Dear Black Hats,

My Ebay got indefinitely suspended, so if a buyer opens a case he automatically get's his money back- no matter if he is just asking "how do I use this" or "when it will be delivered". ONCE Case is open-boom- ebay AUTOMATICALLY escalates this case on my behalf (without my permission) and refunds money to the buyer out of my PayPal account.
I called Ebay customer support, but they simply told me - "ohh, your Ebay account is now suspended, so every case is automatically being decided in buyers favor- and you can't appeal it".

Please help me out. What should I do? How Do I stop Ebay from robbing my PayPal account??? Should I close my PayPal before it will get suspended? But, IF I am going to close my PayPal will buyers still be able to do charge-backs and stuff? What are consequences/repercussions?
Have someone experienced this before? (PayPal and Ebay are registered under my real name) Every response would be greatly appreciated. Please HELP!!

ALSO I AM WARNING YOU - THIS IS NEW TO ME- AFTER YOUR EBAY ACCOUNT IS SUSPENDED, BUYERS HAVE 90 DAYS TO OPEN A CASE- NOT 45 DAYS.

I do not believe that you CAN close a Paypal account. I think your best bet would be the empty the account then remove your bank/CC details from it.

Actually, you can close a Paypal account. I'm not sure if the account is deleted or just retired. But when it's closed it's not a valid paypal account and you can't login.

To close one you just have to call Paypal.

Trust me, I've closed an account before.

OK, that sounds good, but what will happen with future claims and charge-backs that people might file? Will they get automatically denied? Or PayPal will go after me and will request reimbursements?

I'm not quite sure. You'll have to ask them.

They'll most likely hand it over to collections and then you'll be getting phone calls and all that. They won't take money straight from your bank though.

I can't give you a for sure answer, though.

If you close your paypal account and a dispute arises then they ll reopen your paypal account to cover that amount from the dispute case.Sorry for that , its just how egay and gaypal act unfortunately.

Sound like you're afraid of future chargebacks based on something you've sold on eBay? I hope you're not in trouble, but surely if the case looks like it'll require lots of chargebacks, they probably will have your PP account locked by now so you can't withdraw the funds...

You can't take bank accounts off your PayPal, and you might as well let the chargebacks come because if your selling on your own personal account (which it sounds like you are) then they will send you to collection agents, and it could also be really bad for your credit if your currently in the USA.

empty it out close it and delete your banking account from paypal ebay and paypal ruins peoples business and lives quick

Most probably your paypal account is going to get on hold if you try to delete it. So, best of luck. Try removing the bank details if you can...

I agree with g0g0l try to remove your bank details if it is the case that its your legit info account. I dont think he`s worry about the chargebacks, its about his money. I would probably be in the same spot if I were you

I haven't known that we can encounter such issue with ebay. Now I'm rethinking again if I will join and earn from ebay.
