I'm still amazed at how badly eBay was running their AdWords campaigns, and how that was allowed to go on for so long. Didn't Google step in at some point and let them know their campaigns were a disaster? If you are spending that kind of money per month with AdWords, they will assign you a dedicated account team who will proactively work with you to improve your account performance. I cannot believe they would let this kind of incompetence persist without trying to fix things for them.

LOL, we get it dude. JFK was never shot by Lee Harvey Oswald, Elvis is still alive, reptiles are taking over the world and Google penalized Ebay just because they stopped buying adwords.

Ebay got penalized because of Penguin 4.0. And A LOT of sites lost rank thanks to this update.

If you don't believe that, and you really believe something more sinister is going on, then show me your proof. Because I would *love* to see how that conversation went down with Larry Page and his engineers. "Hey Mr. Engineer, Ebay stopped buying adwords and I be mad as hell yo so let's crush dem bitches".

Engineer responds - "Mr. Page, I understand that you're angry... but what if Ebay changes their minds a week from now and turns their campaigns back on? Then we lose millions in ad revenue because of 1 angry, immature & spiteful decision?"

Maybe that twisted type of logic makes sense to you. But it doesn't make any sense to me. EVEN IF Google did penalize Ebay out of spite, in the end they're just doing them a huge favor. Because Ebay is gonna learn, adapt & evolve into a better business. You people can speculate and spread as many false rumors as you want. I'm just pointing out that you have no proof. The real kool aid drinkers are the ones who make accusations based on their own wild imaginations. They're the ones who buy into these sensational and ridiculous explanations because their brains can't accept the boring truth.
