Hi all, just a quick post for the weekend. I sell a few things on ebay and i have tried submitting the link of my auction using scrapebox to relevant wordpress blogs. In this case of course it does not matter if you spam or sg because you will not get sandboxed or deindexed So i blasted my url to relevant forums with a nice comment of course and my ebay counter went crazy (usually i have maybe 80-100 visitors, with this one i had around 1500). This way i could sell a few of my items for more money and got more exposure, thus more bids. I understand that its not the gold standard, but it certainly helped. For "proof freaks" i can screenshot my counter if you like. Have a nice weekend everyone! Mnemonic
great idea. Did you put your ebay URL in the comment? Was it in an anchor text? Just wondering how the visitors got to your ebay auction. Have you tried it again ? Posting to the same WP blogs may not work twice and may see it as spamming.
I did not use anchor text i simply but into the comment for example: - baseball cards forums on wordpress: Hi everyone i have just come across this interesting auction on ebay. It is a nice Mickey Mantle PSA card (example post). Or you can say this is my action, it does not matter. Let's face it if only the webmasters click it (who are obviously interested in the topic given they wrote a blog on it) its already a win. No i have only posted once for one auction and different blogs on the second blast. If you are selling multiple items you can obviously rotate the url in the poster. Im glad you found it useful. Even Sweetfunny thanked me, which is an honor! Thanks!
wow great idea! dont know why i never thought of this before....spam affiliate links and auctions....so simple but a great idea.
