    Hello to all,

I've been promoting ebay stuff for several months now. Their EPN model of paying commission was fairly accurate upto Jan-2010. However in Feb. My total Winning Bid Revenue was $1,xxx.xx, but I only got paid $6xx.xx in Earnings, that's $3xx.xx less commission!

However, I can't complain to these guys because I'm afraid that they will try to find some flaw with your websites and shut you down. ( my websites are all whitehat) I've read plenty horror stories of how ebay simply bans affiliates left and right.

But what can I do? ebay is my the best performing affiliate program out of google adcents, clickbank's scammy products, or amazon.

My advice is to do nothing at all. I am an affiliate for EPN and do very nicely from them, I feel that overall earnings have gone up since the switch to EPC as opposed to the comission structure they had running, in fact since the switch my earnings have doubled with no extra work on my part. I dont understand exactly the way they pay now but I know it is not based on a % of the commision they earn any more they value your traffic on a CPC basis so if you get 100 clicks and 1 bid you get very little for each click but if you get 100 clicks and 40 bids you EPC will climb up all about quality traffic. the only place it falls down is if you only sent 1 click for $100000 buy I doubt youd get an EPC of $xxxx it would not be much more that a $ or 2

I guess there is nothing we can do about it. Who knows ebay might decide to cut the commission from 40% to 30% next month, and then go from 30% to 20% by next year, and then 20% to 10% and so on.
