eBay removed my listing for policy violation - do I still get to keep the money made?

Hi, I'm a newbie so please bear with me. I'm curious if anybody has experienced this and whether I should be concerned.

I was selling contact lenses on eBay. I sold 7 of them in a day. When the day ended, eBay removed my listing citing policy violation for selling medical devices. I have no clue what the heck the email even meant when they said, "We have credited all associated fees except for the final value fee for your listing(s)."

All of the items have been paid for and shipped. I sent messages to the people who ordered the stuff that I've already shipped the items since from what I understand, eBay notifies buyers when a listing they purchased from has been removed. I gave them their tracking numbers to ease their minds. I don't know if the money they paid would be refunded and if they still get to keep the stuff.

Paypal still has the money pending, but eBay erased all tracks of the sold items so I had to manually find customers who bought the item to message them. I don't know if this indicates that the money will be refunded.

If eBay removed a listing for a policy violation, and the item has been already sold, paid for, and shipped, do you still get to keep the money or will it be refunded?

I've learned my lesson and now I'm not even going to touch eBay. It's my own fault, of course. I'm just going to sell the entire box of the contact lenses somewhere. Any advice?

Just in case anyone searches for an answer to this question, you get to keep the money even if eBay removes your listing for policy violation. The funds have been going through these past few days. Just make sure you message your customers and give them their tracking number so that they don't file a claim on you which would automatically refund their payment.

As long as the buyers dont open cases on Ebay or Paypal and your Paypal account does not get limited then yes you should still be able to keep the money made

This literally happen to me last month I sold a jatg xbox for 320$ listing was removed but buyer already paid for it so I got to keep the money, but buyer filed a return requested and complained blah blah blah.. so I offered a partial refund but never head from the buyer my funds were on hold for 4 weeks cause ebay gives them a month to respond to the partial refund and my funds were released back to me just 3 days ago. So in short yes you keep the money as long as they don't file a return request or dispute.
