well, I hate people who make fun out of other people speciallay when they are depressed. its not funny.

carsonrathi - I am sorry but I dont have information about this issue, you have to digg it yourself, I dont think it can be a big deal, $1200 is not a big money and large companies usually send several notices before taking any action.

    cheers

Thanks Maxell, i didn't received any notice yet. But one thing is strange, that ebay just have my address not any hand sign document, even not any photo ID. I mean they never took any verification document. They even don't know who i am so i have a hope...let's c...

Unless they have your legit info or somehow any of your accounts point to the "real" you in some way, then there is nothing really they can do. They will put your account on hold and attempt to contact you by mail and by phone, but of course, if they don't have your "real" info then it will be tough to track you.

They do have a dept which specializes in this but even if they do find out who you are, it could take a very long time because their staff is small and they have thousands of delinquent accounts.

If your Ppal is in your real name( so you can get your money to your bank) surely its just case of tracking back to your Paypal from Ebay from sold auctions???????????

Years ago I racked up an $800+ bill and they sent me a few invoices in the mail to my home. After that, they just stopped sending anything and did not report anything to collections. They just dropped it. I think you will receive a couple letters in the mail then never hear from them again. I could be wrong, but that was what happened in my case. They may have changed procedures though. It was about 6-7 years ago.

Don't login to your accounts, if they find you are loging from one IP to all accounts, they can relate the accounts to you, may be find your details from your ISP.

This is the only thing that will trip you up. However worst they do is send a couple letters and threaten to put it on your credit report.

Just remember NEVER use real info for blackhat

paypal and ebay like to work alike (and together) in many ways.

if you have a past due balance means nothing unless someone who you owe money makes a complaint.

if someone youve bought something from complains, then both paypal and ebay will be taking action, normally you dont have much to worry about, but you can get into some big troubles.

if someone has complained and its connected to your real account in any way (CC, Bank, IP address, etc. just because they dont have signed documents or photo ID doesnt mean jack, when you agree to the TOS thats your digital signature)

-Seller you bought from complains to ebay/paypal for not recieving payment
-ebay and paypal will temporarily suspend your account while "investigating"
-you have a few chances to come clean, either explain your side of the story, send the items back, or pay the due amount.

if you pay the amount/reach an agreement w/ buyer, you will be fine (well, sometimes paypal likes to close people out for no reason so yeah)

if you do nothing, or fight the case and lose, your account will be closed and your due balance will be sent to a collection agency, from there it becomes a real life problem, they will start calling every day and harrassing and threatening you with all sorts of crap.

my best suggestion would be to pay the money you owe, next time you steal from ebay, do it a smart way, and dont get stuck like this

Which accounts has an overdue? Is it the real one or the fake ones with the vccs?
If its the fake one, even if you logged into the real one with same ip (not very smart thing to do), you might still be able to bullshit your way around that by saying its your roommate/girlfriend/brother etc who set up the fake accounts and fucked over ebay, not you.
If its the real one... well I honestly dont know what ebay collection procedures are, I know Paypal sends accounts to collections, but not sure about ebay.
Usually, the worst they do is send the account to a collections agency, which may show up as negative info on your credit report, but thats about all.
Taking someone to court will cost thousands of dollars, so companies usually only do that if they have reasonable ground to believe you actually have the funds to pay, but are refusing to do so.
Think about it, in another way, lets say an 18 year old who works at McDonalds racks up $15 000 on his cell phone bill, even if the phone company successfully sues him for that amount, they will not get JACK SHIT, as the dude simply doesnt have any money to pay for that.

    Hi,

I don't have any indivisual overdue means it's all the fees that ebay owes. I use to be an ebook seller but as you know ebay closed 'Digital Delivery' items on 31st March, so here my business got a kick...best part is that i don't owe any buyers' money...

Which ebay site do you owe this money to - US or India? I know someone in India who got badly screwed in such a case (and he had dues of just about $200 in Indian Rupees). The thing is that most sellers out of India cannot really afford a half decent lawyer. In India, they just have to file a criminal complaint and then it's the police who start harassing you. And usually cases drag on for years in India.

So if you are based out of India, I'd suggest you pay up. And from a thread of yours, it looks like you've made a decent sum selling domains on Ebay - use that to pay for this. Just my 2 cents.
