I'm a pretty run of the mill eBay user; I buy bits and pieces and sell every now and then and nothing on a large scale. I think i have 52 feedback (100% positive) spanning over 5 years roughly. These are nearly all bought transactions. I think I have sold about 5 things. I don't use it as a business or anything. This is my only eBay account I have never had and I don't have any other eBay accounts. I am am selling 1 item at the moment (motorbike heated grips) and about an hour ago i got the following message: Dear rugbyjack2005 ([email protected] Based on your account information and activity, it looks like user ID pbro9672 is associated with your account. This usually indicates that both accounts belong to the same person. Because the other account is restricted or otherwise not meeting minimum seller standards, at this time, you won't be able to sell any additional items. You can begin selling again by resolving any open issues with the associated account. We've already sent instructions for resolving these issues to the email address registered to that account. -- Related help links -- Limits on eBay sellers: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/sellinglimits.html Seller performance standards: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/seller-non-performance.html Using multiple accounts: http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/multiple-accounts.html Thanks, eBay Please don't reply to this message. It was sent from an address that doesn't accept incoming email. I don't know who this person is and it certainly isn't me. The item i am selling has been taken down as well and the offers i had on it presumably will be lost. I have messaged them and hopefully they will sort it but I'm a little worried that they will just say "sorry we don't believe you." Given that i don't have another eBay account, what would have triggered this and has anyone else had this problem before with eBay and did they resolve it?
