I used to sell digital products on Ebay and this was virtually all I did and I made a killing doing it. Then the new guy took over, changed all the rules and is making it harder and harder to sell anything digitally, in the wrong category etc.

Does anyone still sell ebooks on Ebay but in a CD format? If so does this work and does anyone know of a good, reliable automating company that will put together the CD and distribute it for a low cost?

    Thanks in advance

On egay UK a lot of the routine crap is selling for £1 to £2 with free shipping.

I think the only way you are going to make any decent money is to sell your own unique content and build a list by getting the buyers to sign up for their free 'updates' and bonuses...or alternatively go the BH way as suggested below...

    The choice is yours!! :D

or make classified ad listings so they stay up for 30 days each. advertise your website in the ad and products. then u can digital deliver to them once they get to your site. other selllers do this to and works. classified ads work on ebay if done right...

Can anyone clarify what eBay's policy towards ebooks is now? What was the policy and what is it now? Thanks.

You used to be able to deliver 'non tangible' goods such as ebooks via email but that is now banned. You must sell a 'tangible' product which essentially is the same product albeit on a CD/DVD and posted to the buyer.

I had my classified ads pulled for having links to external sites...waste of time challenging it as egay kept referring me back to the selling listings policy...

Huh. That is really lame. I'm gonna look up if there are any ebay like sites for digital goods. It seems like if eBay just killed that market, there is a business to be had by creating one in its place.

I had a 100$ a day digital download business on eBay. (or more)

Not many people want to wait for a disk to me mailed. We all want instant gratification.

    To hell with eBay...
