A buyer tried to scam me after they bought an item from me . I got this from ebay a few minutes ago so I thought I'd share
eBay Customer Support has reviewed the case and made a final decision.

We decided not to issue the buyer a refund. You don't need to do anything else for this case. The hold on this PayPal transaction has been removed. This case is closed.

    Decision:
This case has been decided in your favor. The hold on this PayPal transaction has been removed.

    Comments:
We received tracking information from you before or at the time the buyer opened the case that shows the item was delivered to the buyer's address. You don't need to do anything else. Because we decided in your favor, this case, any feedback left, and all detailed seller ratings left, will not affect your seller performance. In addition, any feedback left for this transaction will be removed. Note: It may take up to 24 hours for these updates to reflect in your Seller Dashboard.
    Fuck yes!

I'm glade for you but still this thread is useless.
What are you trying to say? "i won" ? who give a shit?

If you want to contribute to the forum, tell the whole story about how he tried to scam you and what you did to win the case

My apologies.I was just so excited that ebay decided in my favor that I posted and left out the details. The buyer had denied ever recieving the item and filed a claim. I was advised by those more knowledgeable than me to just refund the money and be done with it. I just didnt feel right about that so I called Ebay and provided tracking and they confirmed the item had been delivered to the correct address, and ruled imediately in my favor. The buyer then filed another claim saying the item didn't work correctly. I called ebay immediately and they agreed that there was something fishy and ruled again in my favor. I guess I was surprised at how reasonable ebay was.Hopefully they are filtering out scammers.I guess the key is to make sure you have tracking on everything you sell

Wow Im really surprised with this though, usually they always favor the buyer in every case. Im glad they actually backed you up in this case. With all my accounts, I deal with a bunch of scammers and customers always claiming the product doesnt work or they never recieved it when there is evidence that the package was delivered. I even have had a customer claiming there item was broken and wanted another one product as a replacement. When I checked the tracking number the item hasnt even been delievered yet. Although they still scam, I allow it. I need every positive feedback to get those accounts top rated which sucks but it is what it is. Allow I see that you even got a negative rep for posting this thread. Dont worry ill give you some rep, it's not that much of a pointless thread. Ive seen alot worse

I'm going to have to agree with eBayUltimate on this one. This isn't a pointless thread. You just got excited. People shouldn't have given you a negative just for that. I also agree with eBayUltimate on letting people scam me sometimes. It just all depends. Everyone has been scammed, and I just put it into my % of lost sales. I try to keep that at 5% or lower, but some months it can go higher. Its great you had tracking. Ya that was dumb of the buyer to claim he didnt that the item if you had the tracking, but i guess a question I have is did you upload the tracking at all when you sold the product? Because it sounds like you gave it to the eBay reps after the case was open, and not before. But at the same time if that is the case it saved your butt and worked for you, and not against you! Solid!

yes, I always upload tracking. The message they left was "Tracking shows it was delivered but we never received it" The funny thing was after ebay found in my favor they filed another claim and said they received it but it didn't work right.
