    Ok guys,

first of all, this idea came to me middle of night when i couldnt sleep so it might have some major flaws. Hopefully not though.

    Here goes.

    First question:

If you put a link in your ebay item description, does that link count as a backlink? or is it set as no - follow?

If answer to this is yes it does count, then here is what i was thinking...

When they have a free listing day, set up items for really cheap, like an ebook on cd or something really cheap and just create a few links in the description. You would be able to set up ALOT of auctions and make then last for a good amount of time.

Just wondering whether doing this would work for backlinks???

I have no idea whether they are no follow or not but I do know you need to be careful in what sites you link to. If you link to a site where you are selling something then ebay will delete your auction. The only way around this that I know of is to host your picts on your site and embed them in your auction.

Auctions will get deleted after some times why not try with their blogs... :) Good way to get backlinks and they get counted... :)
