    Hello Everyone,

I firstly want to say a big thanks to all the users on BHW for helping me cope with the issues that have occurred. Ive spend the whole day looking and reading other threads to find a solution to this problem.

My problem started this morning when I received a phone call from eBay. They said they had some issues with my eBay listings they were saying that due to my negative feedback and reports from other users they are in contact with me today. They say that I was selling counterfeit/ unauthentic Mobile phones and have removed my listings until I provide invoices for the items. EBay has now put on hold to 4 of my eBay accounts and restrict me from selling as well as advising me not to relist the item. They have then sent me a email explaining what I need to do next.

On the email they are asking for ID as well as invoices for the products that have been sold. I'm unable to provide invoices for the items as they are all refurbished and some rehoused and I was selling them as brand-new. I have bought some from market stall and some from other ebay accounts. which i cannot prove them as brand new. I always started listing at bidding of 0.99p which caused more suspicion. I didn't have much feedback and I'm not worried if they banned me. I'm only worried if this becomes a federal matter or or ask me to refund everybody. The Account that I am using is a personal account and not a stealth account.

They have not frozen my PayPal account yet I'm not sure if they will as eBay and PayPal are not to joint any more.

I need advice in if I should respond to to eBay or ignore them. I'm not worried if they ban me. I am only concerned if they try to take the money.

If I do choose to ignore eBay what can they do?
    what will they do?.

When PayPal put a hold on my funds?

    please advise thanks in advance.

Okay, so you were doing scammy stuff and busted.

Chances of this becoming a federal matter? Very small. Chances of you losing every dispute filed against you? 100%. The problem is that when your account is banned eBay will send all your buyers an email saying that you got banned and you will pretty much automatically lose any dispute filed against you. This could be a minor or major problem depending on how many people are going to want their money back.

It used to sometimes take them months to take action even when they were the same company.

    1. You can try to BS your way out of it, but from what it sounds like they already have multiple complaints of you violating SNAD policy so I don't think it's going to work.

    2. The money thing will depend entirely on how many people file a complaint, unless you took a whole lot of money out of a whole lot f people.

Thanks for the reply. What do you recommend me to do?

Is there point replying back to ebay and am i able to close my accounts down?

If i withdraw all the money form the Paypal and then unlink my bank accounts. How will they take the money then?

Most of the customers are happy with the item, but i think if ebay send a message saying that im ban. This could cause suspicion and then customer may just start a case unnecessary. Only one person accussed me of counterfeit phones and i disputed that with ebay and won and got the comment removed.

The other comment are for minor this just saying that the phones are not new as stated but old phones. I strongly believe that other competitors have filed reports beacuse i was selling a lot of phones at auctions for low starting prices.

lol that's not really a "minor" issue. Even if it was your competitors, you are indeed guilty so it doesn't matter.

It's threads like this that just confirm that I will never buy any electronics from eBay.
