Ebay adding Bitcoin Payments

Considering stripe ended btc support i do not see ebay ever adopting it.

I am sure the ebay scammers everywhere had small orgasms dreaming about it though

eBay was bound to change it's shitty PayPal payment processor. I don't honestly see it really using Bitcoin, but rather an alternative cryptocoin as Bitcoin isn't really ideal for its case. Stripe ended Bitcoin support too recently (https://stripe.com/blog/ending-bitcoin-support).

And Facebook have banned ads for crypto currency, looks like the hype maybe dying. Not so much in the news now, the world will move on

The hype was never really because of FB. Most ads I saw on FB related to Crypto were shit, ICOs (easy to scam people) & a few regular ones. The market is simply having a correction.
But anyways this isn't a "will bitcoin die" thread.

Just updated my last post:

Update: Actually don't see it adding Crypto at all for now else people would be able to easily scam a person. Unless they implement a safety system which the buyer confirms they received the item before the seller has access to it. We need a Crypto version for paypal (except less-shitty) which UTrust is trying to establish.

I didn't mean because of Facebook, I meant that one of the biggest sites on earth, billions of users banned it. Only cryptokiddies trust it, it's only value is finding a bigger fool to buy it at a higher price. The youngsters liked it because it's more exciting than investing in gold.
 
Ebay will be using Request Network at some point I can bet you.
 
My only thought is: How are they going to enforce buyer protection if they use BTC?
 
I hope they give away free ice creams with evy ordah too.
