I just read s ebook about eBay classified ads (four tier annihil*ation) and that there is a lot a traffic going around in it.

I have done some research and when i look at the ads that have a counter you see only 200/300 views after 30 days, i wonder is that really worth the trouble of promoting stuff like eBooks or CPA or my own stuff?

Anyone with experience that wanna shed some light on it?

i don't really think classifieds are worthwhile on e*bay.
after all people are on ebay to SHOP, not to send their info as a lead.
i think e*bay made their best business move by making classifieds (to screw everyone over).
its like craigslist, but you pay ebay $20 for it.
 
IIRC, the classifieds are like $9 for 30 days. I've been running them for the last couple of months promoting clickbank stuff (and stuffing the cb cookie).

Overall, I've made in the neighborhood of $350 in that time from the cb products.

Will you get rich on it? Not a chance. Is it a decent ROI? Absolutely!
 
Didnt work for me either. I was promoting a clickbank product tru ebay classifieds.
My guess is a lot if not everything will depend on your sales letter and of course the product.
 
I should know but for some reason forget and am too lazy to go look it up, so maybe you can tell me if eBay classifieds appear in search results.

I seem to recall that they do not.

It was like over 95 F here all weekend and 100 F yesterday, so my brain boiled.

Graiglist is no option for me, i have tried so many times to get a post true never happened (ohw those frustrated days :) ) so that is why i was looking at eBay, i still wonder if it is so bad why do people keep buying the ads because i have been keeping my eyes on it for a view weeks now and i see the same ads coming along.

Thanks fore your opinions but i am going to give it a shot anyway and when i succeed i will write a eBook that you guys can buy for $97- even when it is 3am :D
 
There's a reason people keep buying classifieds, and it it's because they just enjoy throwing $$ at ebay ;)

gotta agree w/ that 110%
ebay has got ppl so fooled. as i said, best new revenue producing strategy for ebay for 2008 for sure.. can only wonder whats in store for 2009...:eek:
