Well as the title states you will be selling free phones through eBay. This method is pretty basic but it still works great with eBay. I have tested it myself about a month ago and managed to get 6 sales in a week with working less that 20 minutes a day.
THE SET UP
Step 1: Go to CJ.com and register an account when you are done search for LetsTalk.com and join their affiliate program. As you will probably see they pay $55 for a phone with plan sale.If you visit their site you will notice that quite a few of the phones are actually free if they are purchased with a 2 year plan with the selected carrier.
Step 2: With the above information on mind you will be listing the phones on eBay as auctions for the price of 0.01.(Always set the price at 0.01 because you will appear first when someone uses the "Sort by
rice + Shipping: lowest first" option)
The important thing to keep in mind here is to always say that the phone is FREE WITH PURCHASE OF A 2 Year Plan. If you forget to add this detail you can expect a lot of refunds and negative rep which is not good for business
.
This pretty much covers the basics of this method I wont go in to detail on what tricks to use on eBay to get better exposure to that listing since many of these have been already shared here and you can find them in the eBay section of the forum or just by hitting the search button. However I'm going to show you a few templates that other sellers are using that should give you pretty good idea on how this method works and how the auction templates look.
PS: This method should also work well with Craigslist I havnt tested that myself but I'v seen a few people doing for some time now which leads me to believe that it should be working for them
PSS: Is your auction not getting enough attention on eBay? Than think of your eBay page as a WEB 2.0 property.Since eBay is a very authoritative site the sub pages rank pretty decently build a few links and social bookmark your auction page. With a bit of luck you might appear on the front page of Google for your desired keyterms. Just remember that if you are going to use this tactic you should set your auctions to expire in a longer period of time. Listing your auctions at Google Products might help you as well.
I'm not sure if this has been shared before and I didn't have time to do a search around the forum so I apologize in advance if another member already shared this trick.
