This is a real simple method to find do follow .edu/.gov domains to post a backlink.

    Tools needed:
    scrapebox (makes things easier)
    or
Serpattacks (free and works just as well)
    or
any tool of your choice that can check the back links of a competitor.

    Step 1:
Go to fiverr.com and search do follow .edu" without quotes and sort by rating or popularity.

    Step 2:
Find some gigs with allot of likes and comments.

    ex.
    Code:
    http://www.fiverr.com/users/stormchaser/gigs/create-50-edu-and-gov-links-to-your-website?ref=glst-g-ttl
    Step 3:
Use the find function on your web browser (or hit ctrl F) and type "http" without quotes in the find box. Copy any website that you find in the comment section to an excel file or something similar.

    Ex. Thanks...great job again! http://affiliate-ownage.com

    Step 4:
Import your list of urls into scrapebox/serpattacks or whatever and analyze these websites back links. Export all of these backlinks into an excel file. In the Excel file hit ctrl F on your keyboard again and type ".edu" in the find box. Hit find all and highlight every website in the find box by hitting ctrl A on your keyboard. Hit the close button on the find box and then hit ctrl C on your keyboard to copy every website with a .edu domain from your list.

Paste these urls into another spreadsheet, viola you now have a list of (mostly) do follow auto approve blogs and forums where you can leave you backlink.

Some of these are going to be spammed to death, use caution with this method. You will find some diamonds in the ruf though.

Please hit thanks if you learned something, you don't have to though.

Free .gov domain as a gift: I will remove this in a day or two to prevent massive spam.
    Code:
    http://www.bohol.gov.ph/guestbook/
    Cheers!

    • Thanks Thanks x 19

Can't believe people are posting their links openly in the comments like that. Good thing for us BHWers though.

    Good methods !
A PHP script can extract all "http://" or "www." URLs.

And look at this Gigs :
    Code:
    http://www.fiverr.com/users/joepark/gigs/create-70-high-pr-authority-backlinks-to-your-site
    http://www.fiverr.com/users/wiseman/gigs/create-10-edu-backlinks-for-your-site-explanation-and-proof-1st-page-of-google-inside
    http://www.fiverr.com/users/portron/gigs/create-a-3000-backlink-pyramid
    ...

Ya I couldn't believe so many people were posting their websites in the comments. The problem with this method is that we are probably stealing from fellow BHWers who are using fiverr for extra income... :(

Oh well, glad you guys liked it!

    Haha that's a really cunning method :D
I do something very similar on those noob bait threads that have been cropping up on here lots and lots (you know all those 'Follow me on my epic quest from 10 pence to £99999999999999999999999999999999999 a day' :D)

Have you actually read the original post?!?!?!

    1) Goto Fiver
    2) FIND A EDU/GOV BACKLINK GIG
    3) Look through the comments from PREVIOUS customers
    4) STEAL THE LINKS THEY BOUGHT!

I don't even understand what was ambiguous about that....

What he's saying is that most of these are going to be new profile backlinks and wont even be indexed yet. When analyzing the backlinks for a site you find like this you will be lucky to get 1 of these links showing up/indexed.

I think the problem is, there's alot of people on here that seem to think if it isn't entirely automated, or results aren't instantaneous it's too much work for them....

definitely better to have relevant links, but do follow .edu are kinda hard to come by. I don't know a method to find them in an automated fashion at least.

Another trick I just discovered today, which is definitely not new, is by using SB footprints to find relevant directories to post a link in. Yes yes, directories are nearly pointless, but i'll tell you anyway if your looking to mix up your backlinking strategy.

open SB, change it to custom footprint and type this in, keeping the quotes intact:

directory "Keyword Phrase here" "Submit a link"

    or

directory "keyword phrase here" "Add Site"

Check the PR of everything that comes up and submit your link to anything 4+. My whitehat job really really likes this one.... but their whitehat and don't know any better lol.
